French President Emmanuel Macron announced today, December 21, 2025, the official launch of the Porte-avions de nouvelle génération (PA-NG) program during an address to French troops in Abu Dhabi.

The nuclear-powered carrier, designed to replace the Charles de Gaulle in 2038, will be Europe's largest warship at ~78,000 tonnes.

🏴👺❌🇻🇪🛢 — Reuters reports that that Venezuela's State-owned PDVSA Oil company suffered a cyberattack and has not recovered, with systems remaining down and most oil cargo deliveries being suspended as results of it

Meanwhile, Venezuela's tanker loading decreased this Monday and the vessels are transporting oil between national ports, unable to take it out of Venezuela.

➡️ PDVSA and the oil ministry blamed the U.S. for the cyberattack on Monday, saying it was carried out by "foreign interests in complicity with domestic entities who are seeking to destroy the country's right to sovereign energy development."

📝 They alleged the attack was part of U.S. efforts to control Venezuela's oil through "force and piracy."

🇧🇷🇰🇷🚀💥 — South Korean rocket, launched in partnership with the FAB at Alcântara Base, explodes after 50 seconds of flight

➡️ For the first time in decades, Brazil conducted its first commercial orbital-class rocket launch from the Alcântara Launch Center (CLA) on the night of this Monday (12/22), however after the HABIT-Nano rocket took off, it flew for about 50 seconds, when an anomaly occurred and it exploded.

➡️ The South Korean company Innospace has not yet provided further details on the reason that led to the explosion.

➡️ Even with the failure, the launch is an important milestone for the company and for the CLA, as it was the first commercial operation of an orbital type carried out on Brazilian soil and the first launch attempt of the HABIT-Nano rocket, which was still in the development phase.

🇮🇳🚀🛰 — Indian media reports that today, December 24th, 2025 (Christmas eve), the ISRO's LVM3 M6 mission lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, carrying the BlueBird Block-2 satellite into orbit, as part of a commercial deal with U.S.-based AST SpaceMobile.

➡️ The mission will deploy the next-generation communication satellite designed to provide high-speed cellular broadband directly to smartphones worldwide.

➡️ The BlueBird Block-2 spacecraft would be the heaviest payload to be launched into Low Earth Orbit in the history of the LVM3 rocket.

🇮🇳 The success of such mission was cheerished by Indian Prime-Minister Narendra Modi on X, with him saying:
