Russia calls for Maduro’s release, says US creating momentum for "neocolonialism"

Russia condemned the “US act of armed aggression against Venezuela,” says Russia’s envoy to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya.

“Washington is generating fresh momentum for neocolonialism and for imperialism, which were repeatedly and decisively condemned and repudiated by the peoples of this region and by the global south as a whole,”Nebenzya said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
