⚡️🇵🇦🇭🇰Panama's Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision that the Law No. 5 of January 16th, 1997 is unconstitutional.
The law ratified the liscene of operation of the ports of Balboa and Cristobal to the Panama Ports Company, S.A. , which is a subsidiary of the Hong Kong based CK Hutchison Holdings.

South Africa declared the top diplomat at Israel's embassy persona non grata on Friday for what it called "repeated violations of diplomatic norms", including insulting President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The South African foreign ministry accused embassy chargé d'affaires Ariel Seidman of "unacceptable violations of diplomatic norms and practice which pose a direct challenge to South Africa's sovereignty".
"These violations include the repeated use of official Israeli social media platforms to launch insulting attacks" on Ramaphosa, as well as a "deliberate failure" to notify the South African authorities about visits by senior Israeli officials.
Seidman has 72 hours to leave South Africa.

The only safe range for the American fleet to operate is 3,000 km away from Iranian territory. But at that distance, there's no range even for missiles, let alone for aviation.
This will put enormous pressure on the Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq to allow the use of bases for an operation against Iran.
The Emirates and Saudi Arabia have already announced that they will not allow the use of bases, but the situation in Iraq, which is occupied, and in Qatar, whose Emir has a personal relationship with Trump, are different and complicated.
The use of bases in Iraq for prolonged periods will put these bases under fire from various groups linked to the IRGC that operate in Iraq.
Similarly, the use of bases in Qatar will put the country under intense fire from Iran. Due to the proximity, Qatar is subject to much greater exposure than Israel, where Iran can employ short-range missiles in the several hundreds
The coastal anti-ship batteries and the Iranian navy will not be pulverized overnight.

The conversion of the Shahab-3 and Sejjil into ASBMs with a potential range superior to 2,500 km.
As reported by Deutsche Welle back in 2021:
“Iran’s Anti-Ship Ballistic Missiles (ASBMs) strike from above at very high speeds. Adapted from land-based systems for naval targets, they feature maneuverable reentry vehicles (MaRV) to evade defenses.
Attention has focused on the Shahab-3 and its variants, such as the Emad. A demonstration came during the “Great Prophet 15” exercise in 2021, when Iran claimed hits on simulated targets 1,800 km away in the Indian Ocean, near the USS Nimitz using MaRV for precision.
The exercise also included the Sejjil and its variants (including the reported Sejjil-3, with potential range up to 2,500 km), with impact points reportedly as close as 160 km to a U.S. carrier strike group and 32 km to a ship.”
The test appears to have been successful. Since the Sejjil can reach 2,500 km and there are rumors that the Sejjil-3 variant can reach 4,000 km- maybe less in sea version -, I think that a 3,000 km distance would be hypothetically safe for the American fleet.
