"Let me explain to you guys this in simple English, ok? Iran is run by lunatics — religious fanatic lunatics.
They have an ambition to have nuclear weapons.
They intend to develop those nuclear weapons behind a program of missiles and drones and terrorism that the world will not be able to touch them for fear of those things.
And this is the weakest they've ever been.
Now is the time to go after them.
The President made the decision to go after them, take away their missiles, take away their navy, take away their drones, take away their ability to make those things, so that they can never have a nuclear weapon...
That's why the President made this decision.
It was the right decision — and the world will be a safer place when these radical clerics no longer have access to these weapons. You see how they're using them now.
Imagine how they would use them a year from now if they had more of these."

🛰️ Satellite imagery analyzed by The New York Times shows Iranian missile and drone strikes damaged communications and radar infrastructure at several U.S. military sites across the Middle East, including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
Targets included SATCOM terminals, radomes, satellite dishes, and facilities near missile-tracking systems like the AN/TPY-2 radar.
Key sites hit include the U.S. Fifth Fleet HQ in Bahrain, Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, Camp Arifjan and Ali Al Salem bases in Kuwait, Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia, and installations in the UAE.
The strikes appear aimed at disrupting U.S. military communications and missile-defense coordination across the region.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has warned residents not to prioritise filming social media content over their personal safety during emergency alerts, stressing that failure to follow official instructions could result in legal accountability.
The reminder follows reports that some residents and motorists have been leaving their homes or stopping their vehicles to record videos after receiving mobile warning notifications.

Supermarket shelves across the UAE remain stocked with months of staple supplies, even as geopolitical tensions place renewed focus on shipping lanes, freight costs and energy markets. Retailers and supply chain leaders say the system is absorbing stress without disruption, supported by buffer inventory, diversified sourcing and close coordination with authorities.
Government oversight remains active, with strategic reserves described as robust and diversified. Industry operators insist the operational picture on the ground matches that assurance.
Months of inventory across staples
Across rice, wheat, cooking oil and dairy, inventory cover extends for several months through a combination of in-store holdings, regional distribution centres and forward procurement contracts. That multi-layered stock positioning provides breathing room should transit routes tighten.

In a statement issued in light of current developments, authorities stressed that the dissemination of unverified content, particularly through social media platforms, can have serious legal consequences and may undermine public safety.
“Photographing or sharing sensitive security sites, or promoting unreliable or fabricated information, is prohibited to safeguard national security and stability,” the department said.
