South Korea and the United States will begin their annual spring military drills next week with a focus on heading off North Korea's potential use of nuclear weapons.
The drills, called the Freedom Shield, will be "tough and realistic", and based on scenarios that reflect lessons from recent conflicts, officials from the two countries' militaries said at a briefing.

The Coinbase, $COIN, crash just erased $100 BILLION of market cap in #Bitcoin in 15 minutes.
Between 12:15 PM ET and 12:30 PM ET, Bitcoin fell from $64,000 to $59,000.
This was a near 9% swing in 15 minutes right as many Coinbase users began showing a $0 balance in their account.
It also happened to occur just as Bitcoin was less than 10% away from a new all time high.
Coinbase is reportedly still working on fixing the issue.

Reggaeton Be Gone (the name is a homage to Tv-B-Gone device) will monitor room audio, it will identify Reggaeton genre with Machine Learning and trigger comm requests and packets to the Bluetooth speaker with the high goal of disabling it or at least disturbing the sound so much that the neighbor won't have other option that turn it off.

A 500 percent fuel price hike will take effect in Cuba this week, a month later than initially planned, the government of the cash-strapped island nation said Wednesday.
Finance Minister Vladimir Regueiro announced via government mouthpiece Granma that the higher prices will enter into force on Friday, March 1.
The price of electricity will rise by 25 percent from the same date for the country's biggest consumers, he added.
Havana had announced a five-fold increase in the fuel price from February 1 as part of a series of measures seeking to cut the communist-run nation's budget deficit.
