The debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump was a heavy blow for Democrats and increased the former US president's chances of returning to office. During the debate, Biden sometimes lost his mind, misspoke, and did not seem very convincing.

After this, the New York Times, citing sources close to Biden, reported that he might withdraw his candidacy from the election. Since then, there has been increasing discussion about a potential new Democratic candidate. One of the options was Michelle Obama, the wife of former US President Barack Obama.

However, the first lady has always denied that she has great political ambitions. Michelle Obama's office has confirmed that she is not considering a presidential run in 2024, according to NBC News.

“As former First Lady Michelle Obama has said repeatedly over the years, she will not run for president,” her team said.


Michelle Obama wants her daughters, Malia and Sasha, to also stay out of politics.

“Michelle instilled in them from the very beginning that going into politics was crazy. This will never happen,” Barack Obama said in an interview.


Now Michelle Obama is going to support Joe Biden's campaign and fight for high voter turnout. According to recent polls, Michelle Obama would be the favorite to defeat Donald Trump in the election by 50% to 39%. 🚨‼️Don't install @signalapp for macOS, it is not secure.

I carried out this small experiment:

- I wrote a simple Python noscript that copies the directory of Signal's local storage to another location (to mimic a malicious noscript or app)
- I ran the noscript in the Terminal and got a copy of my Signal data on my Mac
- I booted a fresh macOS installation in a virtual machine
- I transferred the copy of Signal's data to the VM and placed it where Signal expects it: ~/Library/Application\ Support/Signal
- I installed Signal and started it
- Signal started and restored my session with all the chat histories 😳
- I exchanged a couple messages with a contact from the VM and it worked 😳
- Then, I started Signal on the Mac
- I got three sessions running in unison: Mac, iPhone, and VM 😳

Messages were either delivered to the Mac or to the VM. The iPhone received all messages. All of the three sessions were live and valid. Signal didn't warn me of the existence of the third session [that I cloned]. Moreover, Signal on the iPhone still shows one linked device. This is particularly dangerous because any malicious noscript can do the same to seize a session.

Perhaps this flaw is what makes some users think that Signal has a "backdoor" as it is easy for sophisticated attackers to target a victim who's using the Mac app and see their chats. (The same may be also true for the Windows app)

🇧🇴✔️🌐 — Bolivia formally joined Mercosur: The news was announced by the country’s president, Luis Arce, through a post on social media, where he announced the enactment of a law approved by the Bolivian Congress

⌛ The law was passed by the Bolivian Chamber on June 14 and sanctioned by the country’s Senate. After the enactment, the law will come into effect in 30 days.

📝 Bolivian Foreign Minister, Celinda Sosa, highlighted in a statement that this is a “historic moment for Bolivia, for the productive sectors, and for Bolivians who are now part of Mercosur.” The minister also commented that it is “a dream that has come true after many years,” allowing Bolivia to participate in one of the world’s most important economic blocs, according to her.

💬During the Mercosur summit, Bolivia’s entry as a full member of the bloc, created in 1991 by Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, is expected to be formalized. Bolivia’s accession had already been ratified previously by the Mercosur member countries.

➡️ According to Eslami, in a statement to the IRIB television channel, based on the results of the processing of 30.530 million ballots, the candidate of the reformist wing, who becomes the ninth president elected in the history of Iran, obtained 16.384 million votes, which represents at least 53.6% of the total.
