🇷🇺🇺🇦— Over the past night, Russian Federation has fired a wave of ballistic missiles and cruise missiles, with Ukraine claiming that Intercontinental Ballistic missiles with multiple non-nuclear re-entry warheads were used

➡️ If confirmed, this marks the first time that an ICBM was used during a Conventional War in human history.

➡️ Earlier, Ukraine fired British and U.S. long-range missiles into Russia after being allowed by NATO countries to do so

➡️ Some reports however state that Russia used Intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBMs) instead of ICBMs

➡️ On the videos shared by Ukrainian pages and netizens, it's possible to see the re-entry of missiles before falling into Dnipro city

Britain's armed forces would be ready to fight their Russian counterparts "tonight" if Vladimir Putin invades another Eastern European nation
🇬🇧🗯👤🇷🇺📰 Politico | UK army chief: We’re ready to fight Putin in Eastern Europe | Rob Magowan told MPs the British Army ‘would fight tonight’ if asked amid rising tensions with Russia | November 21, 2024:

"LONDON — Britain's armed forces would be ready to fight their Russian counterparts "tonight" if Vladimir Putin invades another Eastern European nation, a top U.K. military chief said Thursday.

"If the British Army was asked to fight tonight, it would fight tonight," Rob Magowan, the deputy chief of the British defense staff, told the House of Commons defense committee. "I don't think anybody in this room should be under any illusion that if the Russians invaded Eastern Europe tonight, then we would meet them in that fight."

The striking comments came as MPs asked Magowan Thursday how many British brigades could get to NATO's eastern flank in the event of a major escalation by Russia."

🇧🇷🇮🇷🥱🇺🇳 — The government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) chose to abstain from a United Nations (UN) resolution condemning Iran for its repression of women, violence used to silence protesters, and the wave of death sentences issued by authorities in Tehran. None of the BRICS countries voted to condemn Iran in the UN

✔️ The resolution, presented by European and North American representatives, received the support of 77 countries and was approved with votes from other left-leaning governments, such as Chile, Mexico, Spain, and Colombia.

Iran, a member of BRICS, noted that all its partners in the bloc of emerging economies avoided supporting the condemnation of the country's human rights situation. A total of 28 nations voted against the resolution, including Russia and China, which are also BRICS members.

🏳️ Another 66 countries abstained, including Brazil, South Africa, Egypt, India, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, and Saudi Arabia, all of which are part of the BRICS framework.

💥 Earlier this year, Brazil’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs argued that isolating Iran, as advocated by Western powers, would only intensify radicalism in Tehran and accelerate the country's nuclear weapons development.

💬 In its explanation for abstaining, Brazil’s delegation stated that the country "recognizes Iran's efforts to host one of the world's largest refugee populations, with over 3.7 million Afghan refugees."

📝 "Brazil also praises Iran's engagement with human rights treaty bodies, while reiterating our call for the Iranian government to collaborate with the special procedures of the Human Rights Council.

Nevertheless, Brazil remains concerned about reports of violations against women, human rights defenders, and religious and ethnic minorities. There is also an urgent need to repeal existing discriminatory gender laws and promote the rights of women and girls.

In the understanding that Iran is committed to strengthening its efforts to improve the human rights situation in the country, and in the spirit of constructive dialogue, Brazil will abstain," the statement concluded.

🇺🇸🇺🇸 🇻🇪🇻🇪— According to The Washington Post, Nicolás Maduro has sent emissaries to negotiate with Donald Trump's team, proposing to accept deported illegal migrants in exchange for sanctions relief. However, a Trump associate stated that the offer holds no interest, making it clear that the president-elect's priority is that "Maduro must leave power"

⚡️ Despite pressure from oil executives warning about the risk of losing Venezuela to China and Iran, Trump remains firm in his stance: he will not rely on Venezuela and will seek U.S. energy self-sufficiency.

🛫 Regarding migration, Trump will not relent: he plans to seal the border, regardless of international pressure or the Venezuelan exodus. Faced with an ultimatum, Maduro must decide whether to accept the deportees or face "unimaginable consequences."

🇷🇺🤝🇰🇵🇷🇺 Russian State Media, RIA Novosti on Telegram on Nov 6, 2024:
➡️ The Federation Council ratified an agreement with the DPRK on a comprehensive strategic partnership. The document lays the foundation for a partnership between Moscow and Pyongyang based on the principles of mutual respect.

➡️ The leaders of the countries signed the agreement back in June - during Putin’s visit to the DPRK. According to one of the articles of the treaty, if one of the participants is subjected to an armed attack, the other will immediately provide military and other assistance.

➡️ At the same time, a little later on Wednesday, Russian Ambassador to North Korea Matsegora said that Moscow and Pyongyang had reached important agreements following the recent visit of North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Song Hui to Russia.

🇷🇺🤝🇰🇵 South Korea official says Russia provided anti-air missile to North Korea, reports Reuters quoting Yonhap News Agency

➡️ South Korea's national security adviser Shin Won-sik said Russia has provided North Korea with anti-air missiles and air defence equipment in return for sending troops to support Moscow in its war against Ukraine.

➡️ In an interview with South Korean broadcaster SBS aired on Friday, Shin said Russia had given North Korea economic and military technology support, when asked what Pyongyang stood to gain from dispatching its troops to Russia.

"It is understood that North Korea has been provided with related equipment and anti-aircraft missiles to strengthen Pyongyang's weak air defence system," Shin said.

➡️ Pyongyang also appears to have been given military technology by Russia to support its satellite program following its failed attempt to launch a spy satellite earlier this year, he said.

🇺🇳⚖️🇮🇱 — On November 21, 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC, The Hague) issued arrest warrants for the Prime-Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Prime-Minister Yoav Gallant for War Crimes, the Netherlands-based Court stated on its website

➡️ It is the first time that leaders of a Western-aligned & Liberal-Democratic State have been charged by the court, in the most momentous decision of its 22-year history

➡️ The arrest warrant is in the same style as that issued against Russian President Vladimir Putin, for alleged war crimes and human rights violations.

🔒 Netanyahu and Gallant are at risk of arrest if they travel to any of the 124 countries that signed the Rome statute establishing the court, which neither Israel nor its main Western ally, the United States of America, nor its main enemy, the Islamic Republic of Iran, are part of of.

➡️ The US criticised the move, with US President Joe Biden describing the warrants in a statement on Thursday night as “outrageous”.

“Let me be clear once again: whatever the ICC might imply, there is no equivalence – none – between Israel and Hamas. We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.”

✡️ Netanyahu’s office denounced the chamber’s decision as “antisemitic”.
“Israel utterly rejects the false and absurd charges of the international criminal court, a biased and discriminatory political body,” the office said in a statement, adding that “no war is more just than the war Israel has been waging in Gaza”.

➡️ The statement pointed to an investigation into accusations of sexual misconduct against the ICC prosecutor Karim Khan who sought the charges against the three men in May. Khan, 54, has denied the allegations and said he will cooperate with the investigation.

📝 Much to the delight of the left-wing, humanist-leaning, Islamic and Arab netizen communities who sympathize with the suffering of the civilian population in Gaza and Lebanon, it is indeed laughable, similarly to when they acted against the Russian strongman, the idea that the leader of the Jewish State - a nuclear nation - would actually be apprehended and arrested by the Hague court by any of the parties to the Rome Statute.
