🏴❌🇺🇸 — Overnight, January 1, 2025 AD, an unknown man purposefully crashed his car into a celebration of New Year in New Orleans, Southern United States

➡️ According to local media, at least 12 people were killed and 30 more were injured

➡️ According to local media, the man after crashing his car, jumped off the Ford F-150 Lightning truck and opened fire on bystanders

➡️ Graphic Footage shows the aftermath moment of the attack

➡️ The incident is being considered as a Terror attack, a first in many years in United States soil

➡️ New Orleans Police reports that Law Enforcement personnel eliminated the lunatic, and his actions were deliberate

➡️ Locals report that the man was wearing full military armor during the attack

➡️ Fox News reports that the Ford-made truck had Texas plates and that the man came into New Orleans from Eagle Pass, right on the border with Texas, 2 days ago

🏴❌🇺🇸 — ABC New reports that the Ford F-150 Lightning truck used in the attack was apparently rented through the Turo app -- a car sharing company.

➡️ According to Rodrigo Diaz, the owner of the truck. Diaz told ABC News he rented the truck to an individual through the app and is currently talking to the FBI.

➡️ Diaz wife, Dora Diaz, told ABC News that she and her husband are devastated by the incident.
