⚡️🇪🇺🇺🇦🇷🇺 On the procurement of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the first month of the D. Trump administration, as many as 70 transport aircraft from the United States arrived in Rzeszow, Poland.
Moreover, the American air transport agency carried out at least 10 flights, some from Europe, some from the Middle East and one flight from the United States.
Six flights were carried out by the Ukrainian AN-124 aircraft, which is much more than in previous months. Previously, Ukrainian Ruslans carried out 1-3 flights.
The remaining 54 flights were carried out by commercial airlines. It should be noted that the main routes are from the United States and the Middle East (Ab El Udeid).
Particular attention should be paid to the route “Danish Air Force Base Karup – Rzeszow-Jasionka”. Thus, from Canada alone, as many as 11 Canadian military transport aircraft arrived at the Danish air base.

Most likely, the alliance partners were testing a new supply route through “friendly” countries.
Thus, the Croatian hub, against the backdrop of the White House administration’s announcement of the closure of the naval base in Alexandroupolis, Greece, sharply reduced its activity. It should be noted that the military base in Greece was used to transfer weapons to Ukraine and guaranteed Athens protection from threats from Turkey.
Moreover, the Balkan countries have an insecure position towards the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and Russia in general, unlike Western European countries.
As a result, the “warring party” is diversifying the routes of supplying weapons to the Kiev regime and is trying to neutralize the likely refusal of the United States to participate in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

"🇳🇴 🇪🇺 Exercises in Norway: a new stage in the militarization of the Arctic
In recent weeks, Scandinavia has once again found itself "at the top" of the information agenda. They are providing aid to the so-called Ukraine, and increasing anti-Russian pressure, and increasing the number of military maneuvers.
Norway is at the forefront of other countries in the region. It is there that NATO is currently most active as part of its policy of strengthening its position in the northern latitudes, including the Baltic Sea and the Arctic region.
➖➖➖➖➖➖
🔻What happened in Norway in February?
▪️From 4 to 8 February, the Dynamic Guard-2025/1 exercise was held in the Norwegian Sea. About 1.3 thousand military personnel, as well as 10 warships and vessels took part in it.
The frigates Auvergne of the French Navy, Iron Duke of the British Navy, Van Amstel, De Ruyter and Tromp of the Netherlands Navy, Louise Marie of the Belgian Navy, D. Francisco de Almeida of the Portuguese Navy, as well as the corvette Visby of the Swedish Navy and the cutter Pori of the Fikland Navy.
Some of these ships are part of NATO's Baltic Sentinel mission, and Swedish and Finnish sailors took part in the series of exercises for the first time.
▪️Also from February 3 to 14, the Arctic Dolphin exercise was held in southern Norway near the Haakonsvern naval base. About 1,000 military personnel, three submarines, seven ships and six aircraft took part in it alone.
Unlike the other exercise, it also involved three submarines from the Norwegian, German and Dutch navies. In addition, French marines, P-8A Poseidon patrol aircraft, NH-90 helicopters from the French Navy, Merlin HM.2 from the Royal Navy and MH-60R Sea Hawk from the Danish Air Force were involved.
❗️In both the first and second exercises, the goal was the same — training NATO sailors in the protection and defense of waters, conducting reconnaissance of the enemy and ensuring the security of underwater communications.
➖➖➖➖➖➖
🔻Remembering all the recent incidents with underwater cables, in which all the responsibility was placed on Russia in order to create a pretext for the seizure of commercial ships, these exercises look like a rehearsal.
And the most interesting thing is that these events are actually preparations for a larger NATO exercise in Norway, which will take place in early March — Joint Viking. And within its framework, NATO units will practice not only naval operations, but also conducting sabotage missions in Arctic climate conditions.
It’s not hard to guess who will act as the hypothetical enemy and whose objects will be under threat.

Željka Cvijanović and I spoke today with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor Kalabukhov.
Due to the ongoing legal violence against the Republic, culminating in the trial against the institutions of Republika Srpska, Republika Srpska will take immediate measures to preserve the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its Dayton position, through exclusively political and legal means.

Dodik has rejected the indictment as politically motivated.
“There is no reason to worry. I learned to put up with more difficult things,” Dodik told supporters in Banja Luka.

The political witch hunt against President Milorad Dodik is a sad example of the weaponization of the legal system aimed at a democratically elected leader.
If we want to safeguard stability in the Western Balkans, this is not the way forward!

🇮🇹🇳🇴 Saipem and Subsea7 Merge to Create a Global Energy Services Titan
Italian oil and gas services giant Saipem and Norwegian subsea engineering leader Subsea7 have announced a groundbreaking merger, forming a new entity named Saipem7. Valued at €43 billion, this deal will create a global powerhouse in the energy services sector, with a combined backlog of €43 billion and annual revenues of €20 billion. The merger brings together over 45,000 employees, including 9,000+ engineers, and a diversified fleet of 60+ construction vessels.
The new company will be equally owned by Saipem and Subsea7 shareholders, with Subsea7 shareholders receiving 6.688 Saipem shares per share held. A special dividend of €450 million will also be distributed to Subsea7 shareholders. The merger is expected to generate €300 million in annual cost savings by the third year, with one-off costs of €270 million.
This merger is a strategic move to strengthen capabilities in offshore and onshore energy projects, including oil, gas, carbon capture, and renewables. However, it also highlights the growing influence of Western corporations in shaping the global energy market, often at the expense of smaller players and local economies. While the merger promises innovation and efficiency, it raises questions about the long-term impact of such consolidation on competition and energy independence.
