#NEWS | Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Fox News:

- I respect Trump and I respect the American people. I am not sure we did something bad.
-
- My people just want to hear that America is on our side, not Russia's.
-
- I can't change our attitude towards Russians, they are killers. Putin and Russians are our enemies.
This doesn't mean that we don't want peace.
-
- We are ready for peace, but we need a strong position.
-
Fox News moderator Bret Baier: Was the clash at the White House pre-planned?
Zelensky: I don't know.
-
Baier: Would you go back to the White House if you could?
Zelensky: No.
-
Baier: Is Trump too close to Putin?
Zelensky: I want him to be on more our side.
-
- I think my relationship with Trump can be salvaged. Historical relationship between our people is strong.
American people helped save our people.
-
- We don't have any million losses.
-
- If someone wants to check the funds sent to us, we are open.

Many expected Poroshenko to criticize Zelensky now.
But no that's not what Ukraine needs right now not criticism but unity.

Slovakia will not support Ukraine either financially or militarily, Prime Minister Robert Fico stated.
"REGARDING YESTERDAY'S TRUMP - ZELENSKY MEETING
1. Slovakia will not support Ukraine either financially or militarily to enable it to continue the war. If others choose to do so, we will respect that.
2. Slovakia has reservations about the unrealistic strategy of "peace through strength," which is only intended to serve as a justification for continuing the war in Ukraine. Ukraine will never be strong enough to negotiate from a position of military power.
3. For the conclusions of the EU summit (Thursday, March 6, 2025), Slovakia proposes, among other things, the necessity of an immediate ceasefire (regardless of the moment a final peace agreement is reached), which President Zelensky and a large number of EU member states reject.
4. Slovakia demands that the conclusions explicitly include a requirement to reopen the transit of gas through Ukraine to Slovakia and Western Europe. The situation is absurd: gas from the east to the west is not flowing, yet Ukraine is worsening the situation in Europe by taking European gas. This is Russian gas, for which it pays, thereby funding Russia's military needs. It is impossible to ensure Europe's competitiveness if the supply of Russian gas through Ukraine is not restored. The assistance that the EU and Slovakia provide to Ukraine in various forms cannot be a one-way ticket.
5. If the summit does not respect that there are other opinions besides simply continuing the war, the European Council may not be able to agree on conclusions regarding Ukraine on Thursday.
6. Slovakia respects the need to increase Europe's defense capabilities."

🇹🇷 🤝 🇪🇺 In strengthening its security architecture, Europe shouldn’t discount Türkiye’s role
🔶️ There is now a new security situation in Europe. Thus, Europe will need to look outside of its current framework for security solutions that can realistically and effectively address today’s challenges amid increasing threats and the evolution of the digital age. Türkiye may be one source of much-needed solutions.
🔶️ Türkiye’s defense capabilities could help shore up the European security architecture. The Turkish Armed Forces (TAF), which participates in efforts to address regional conflicts and continues to perform important tasks in the fight against terrorism, has significant combat experience and high operational readiness. As a NATO ally, Türkiye—via the TAF—continues to fortify NATO activities including air policing (over Bulgaria, Romania, and the Baltic states), maritime activities, missile defense, and peacekeeping operations.
🔶️ While most countries in the post-Cold War era focused on peacekeeping missions, the Turkish Armed Forces adeptly balanced between maintaining its regular warfare capabilities while contributing to counterterrorism and peacekeeping missions. This experience can be helpful not only to NATO but also to the CSDP (if widened to non-EU allies) as Russia poses a challenge for security in Europe.

● Abandoning Ukraine without security guarantees would weaken deterrence against Russia, China, and others.
● America’s manifest destiny is to be on the side of the Ukrainians - I have no doubt about that.

🇺🇸 ❌️ 🇲🇽 Pentagon Sending Combat Forces to Help Secure Border
🔶️ The troop mobilization indicates that President Trump is breaking with recent presidents’ practice of limiting deployments along the U.S.-Mexico border mostly to small numbers of active-duty soldiers and reservists.
🔶️ The Pentagon is sending about 3,000 additional troops to the southwestern border, rushing to comply with President Trump’s order to increase the military’s role in stemming the flow of migrants into the country.
🔶️ Combined with 1,100 support troops from the military’s Northern Command announced on Friday, and the recently arrived headquarters personnel from the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, N.Y., the reinforcements announced on Saturday will bring the total number of active-duty troops on the border to about 9,000, Defense Department officials said. The Washington Post reported the additional troop mobilization earlier.
🔶️ Defense Department officials have left open the possibility that as many as 10,000 troops could deploy in the coming days. Marine Corps planners said they could be asked to supply 2,500 or more additional Marines.
