Trump and Putin agreed that the movement toward peace will begin with an energy and infrastructure ceasefire, along with technical negotiations on implementing a naval ceasefire in the Black Sea
🗣📞🗣⚡️ Kremlin:

"Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump

🔹The leaders continued a detailed and frank exchange of views on the situation around Ukraine. Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Donald Trump for his desire to help achieve the noble goal of ending hostilities and human losses.

🔹Having confirmed his fundamental commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict, the Russian President declared his readiness to work together with his American partners to thoroughly explore possible ways of resolving the conflict, which should be comprehensive, sustainable and long-term. And, of course, to take into account the absolute need to eliminate the root causes of the crisis, and Russia's legitimate interests in the field of security.

🔹In the context of the US President's initiative to introduce a 30-day ceasefire, the Russian side outlined a number of significant points regarding ensuring effective control over a possible ceasefire along the entire line of combat contact, the need to stop forced mobilization in Ukraine and rearm the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Serious risks associated with the inability to negotiate of the Kyiv regime, which has repeatedly sabotaged and violated the agreements reached, were also noted. Attention was drawn to the barbaric terrorist crimes committed by Ukrainian militants against the civilian population of the Kursk region.

🔹It was emphasized that the key condition for preventing the escalation of the conflict and working towards its resolution through political and diplomatic means should be the complete cessation of foreign military assistance and the provision of intelligence information to Kyiv.

🔹In connection with Donald Trump's recent appeal to spare the lives of Ukrainian servicemen surrounded in the Kursk region, Vladimir Putin confirmed that the Russian side is ready to be guided by humanitarian considerations and, in the event of surrender, guarantees the lives and decent treatment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in accordance with Russian laws and international law.

🔹During the conversation, Donald Trump put forward a proposal for the parties to the conflict to mutually refrain from attacks on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days. Vladimir Putin responded positively to this initiative and immediately gave the Russian military the corresponding order.

🔹The Russian President also responded constructively to Donald Trump's idea of implementing a well-known initiative concerning the safety of navigation in the Black Sea. It was agreed to begin negotiations to further elaborate specific details of such an agreement.

🔹Vladimir Putin informed that on March 19, a prisoner exchange will be carried out between the Russian and Ukrainian sides - 175 for 175 people. In addition, as a gesture of goodwill, 23 seriously wounded Ukrainian servicemen who are being treated in Russian medical institutions will be transferred.

🔹The leaders confirmed their intention to continue efforts to achieve a Ukrainian settlement in a bilateral mode, including taking into account the above-mentioned proposals of the US President. For this purpose, Russian and American expert groups are being created."

🇬🇧A deal for the U.S. to "reclaim" the Panama Canal is increasingly under fire from authorities in China and Hong Kong.

John Lee, the leader of Hong Kong, stated his concerns about the deal between BlackRock and the Canal owners on Tuesday, saying it deserved "serious attention."

Beijing has opened up investigations into potential antitrust and national security concerns about the deal through various agencies, including its State Administration of Market Regulation, Bloomberg reported.

"If Beijing stops this deal, that’s a direct challenge to the president of the United States on an issue which he really cares about," said U.S.-China relations expert Gordon Chang. "That is not going to go down very well."

"We oppose the abusive use of coercion or bullying tactics in international economic and trade relations," Lee had said in an apparent jab at Trump.

Commentaries published in Ta Kung Pao, a Hong Kong newspaper owned by the Chinese government, claimed the Hutchison-BlackRock agreement would allow the U.S. to "use [the canal] for political purposes and promote its own political agenda" and would make Chinese trade and shipping "subject to the United States."

The deal between CK Hutichison and BlackRock can “no longer be seen as purely commercial in nature,” said Wang Xiangwei, an associate professor of journalism at Hong Kong Baptist University.

👺📞🇺🇸 — JKF FILES: FBI GOT ANONYMOUS CALL WARNING OSWALD WOULD BE KILLED—JUST HOURS BEFORE HIS DEATH

A newly declassified FBI memo reveals that, on November 23, 1963—just one day before Lee Harvey Oswald was shot—an anonymous caller warned the FBI’s Dallas office that someone was going to kill Oswald.

The memo states the call came from a “man talking in a calm voice” who said the FBI “should do something” because “the same group that killed Kennedy” would target Oswald next.

Despite this, no extra security was provided, and Oswald was fatally shot by Jack Ruby the next day.

Other documents in the release show how the FBI had been monitoring Oswald’s connections to pro-Castro organizations and tracking his movements in the months leading up to JFK’s assassination.

🇮🇹🇺🇸JFK FILES: ITALIAN COMMUNIST PRESS BLAMED CIA FOR KENNEDY'S ASSASSINATION

A newly declassified memo shows the CIA tracking reports from the Italian Communist Party’s publication Rinascita, which openly accused the CIA of orchestrating the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The article, published March 7, 1964, by writer Gianfranco Corsini, speculated that U.S. intelligence agencies conspired to kill Kennedy.

The CIA flagged these claims as dangerous propaganda, highlighting fears that communist disinformation campaigns were fueling global suspicions about U.S. involvement in JFK's death.

🇺🇸🇺🇸🇷🇺JFK FILES: CIA WATCHED OSWALD BEFORE ASSASSINATION

Declassified government files reveal the CIA was tracking Lee Harvey Oswald before he killed JFK.

They watched his visits to Soviet and Cuban embassies in Mexico City and worried about his connections to foreign spies.

One document shows U.S. officials feared Oswald had ties to a secret KGB assassination unit.

Another reveals the FBI knew about threats against Oswald before he was killed.

🇷🇺🇺🇸JFK FILES: SOVIETS FEARED A “CRAZY” U.S. GENERAL WOULD LAUNCH A NUKE AFTER ASSASSINATION

After JFK was assassinated, the Soviet Union feared a rogue U.S. general might launch a nuclear strike in retaliation.

The memo details how Soviet officials believed JFK’s murder was part of an extremist plot and that the real danger was an “unbalanced” U.S. military officer using it as an excuse to start World War III.

Soviet intelligence quickly moved to calm tensions, fearing an overreaction from Washington.

The document suggests the Kremlin was more worried about an out-of-control American response than being blamed for the assassination itself.

🇺🇸🤫📝JFK FILES: FBI RUSHED TO SHUT DOWN CONSPIRACY TALK HOURS AFTER OSWALD’S DEATH

Just hours after Jack Ruby killed Lee Harvey Oswald, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover demanded a quick public report to stop conspiracy theories from spreading.

Hoover wrote that “there is nothing further on the Oswald case except that he is dead,” and he wanted to ensure the public believed Oswald acted alone. The memo also shows the FBI was frustrated that Oswald’s murder left them without a chance to get more answers.

Rather than investigate further, the FBI pushed for a clear and simple conclusion—before all the facts were even in.

🇺🇸📞🇷🇺JFK FILES: OSWALD WARNED OF “SOMETHING BIG” AND TRIED TO REACH A SOVIET OFFICIAL

An FBI report states that a source claimed Lee Harvey Oswald hinted at “something big” happening weeks before JFK was killed.

The document also reveals that Oswald attempted to contact a Soviet official named Pavel Yatskov, believed to be working in intelligence.

It’s unclear if he ever reached him, but U.S. officials saw this as highly suspicious.

The source also described Oswald as “nervous” and “agitated” in the days leading up to the assassination, adding that he seemed desperate to send a message before November 22.

Despite these red flags, officials took no further action before the assassination.
