Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina represents a serious issue, following reports that a central arrest warrant has been issued for the top leadership of the Republic of Srpska.

Responding to questions about what could happen if the President, Prime Minister, and Speaker of the National Assembly of Srpska are arrested, Vučić stated:

“It’s a complete disaster. I hope no one is crazy enough to try something like that, and I’m just waiting to see whether EUFOR has received that warrant, that order or not. If they have, it’s a complete disaster.”

His comments come amid escalating tensions after Bosnia’s state judiciary issued warrants for Srpska President Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister Radovan Višković, and National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić.

Vučić emphasized that such actions would pose a huge problem for regional stability, particularly if international forces such as EUFOR become involved.
