India (April 5) Six men beat Abhiraj Kumar, the owner of a medical store in the Punpun district of the capital Patna, demanding 50,000 rupees (≈661 dollars) from him. Because he could not give the money to the extortionists, they entered the store and mercilessly beat Abhiraj, tearing his clothes.
