Borrell is admitting that the EU/West never ended colonialism but morphed it into imperialism. Call it “globalism” if you want to pretend it’s different, but to mirror their “new world” to colonial conquests & the genocide of millions, tells you what they have planned for you.

Josep Borrell, saying the quiet part out loud: “Like the discoverers and conquistadores, we have to invent a new world. And we have to recalibrate our strategic compass, with strong historical consciousness, to understand the magnitude of the changes that we will face.”

💬 Preparations for the US-EU trade war consuming the European press lately have entered the final stages.

France, Germany, and Sweden are already saying officially that the Americans are not playing by the rules. The green agenda is to blame.

A little history.

The green agenda became a key element of US diplomacy when the Democrats came to power. The Europeans supported their allies and began to further increase investments in expensive technologies, such as electric cars and wind turbines, that don’t always make economic sense.

After NATO provoked the crisis in Ukraine, resulting in higher fuel and energy prices among other things, the US got the EU to sanction Russia in the energy sector and other areas. Heating and electricity prices skyrocketed, and the EU economy began to come apart at the seams. The industrially advanced countries – Germany, France and Sweden – were the hardest hit, but other EU states were also affected.

At the same exact time, the US passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) that provides billions and billions in subsidies and government support for green projects and technology, including electric cars.

Now Washington is essentially sponsoring a whole new branch of the auto industry at the expense of the federal budget. The Europeans cannot catch up – their economy is in bad shape and they can’t even run their existing green car plants at full capacity. As a result, there is an artificial redistribution of the market in favour of the US car industry. Related industries that depend on this production chain will continue their downward spiral. The EU is the loser.

Washington won this trade war with the Europeans before it even began simply because Brussels and other European capitals believed their American partners and their commitment to fair play.

This unconditional faith of the Old World in the integrity of the New World is surprising not for its naiveté but for how skillfully it is exploited. The US adroitly manipulated the green agenda to back its partners into a corner.

Is there another way? Yes. China, for one, has long been watching US manipulations and knows very well the worth of Washington’s words and assurances. This is why China resists.

But the most stunning part of this so far biggest intergovernmental affair of the 21st century is that nothing is being done despite the protestations of EU ministers.

There are suspicions that Olaf Scholz, Emmanuel Macron and even King of Sweden Karl XVI Gustaf have reconciled themselves to the thought that their successors will drive on European roads in cars proudly bearing the label MADE IN USA.

Western politicians feign outrage about German Nazis but stay silent when they fund radical extremists & rehabilitate & reward war criminals. Silence on the genocide in Yemen, Palestine, Native Americans, Africans, & millions of Iraqis. Why? It reminds them they too are evil.

✍️ Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian MFA, Head of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Oleg Ozerov's interview with Newsweek (December 2, 2022)

Key talking points:

🔹 Highly dynamic Africa holds a special place in today's decreasingly Western-centric world order, which explains the surge of interest in the region among many international partners. Russian leadership regards developing ties with the continent as a strategic foreign policy objective.

🔹 Africa less and less satisfied with financial handouts as well as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund's stringent lending conditions, which prevent it from embarking on a large-scale industrialization and fully benefitting from its enormous natural resources and human capital.

🔹 The continent is being actively exploited by Western transnational corporations, polluted by environmentally hazardous production and stripped of its mineral resources. The U.S. and European states are imposing their military presence on African countries under the pretext of providing protection against international terrorism.

🔹 The counterproductive practice of sanctions is also used against African partners. Can anyone, including the authors of the sanctions, indeed regard unilateral restrictions imposed on Burundi, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Libya, Mali, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Zimbabwe as effective? The answer is clear.

🔹 Unlike the United States, which has made it a strategic priority to offset the growing Chinese and Russian influence in Africa, devising unimaginable bills to counter Russia's malign influence in Africa. We are guided by the principle of mutually beneficial cooperation.

🔹Each nation has the right to choose its political and economic partners. We are ready for fair economic competition.

Imagine if US Americans were this excited to find out their elections aren’t just swayed by Twitter manipulation which has been obvious for a long time, but actually that their government orchestrated their own domestic interference via internal election manipulation mechanisms like they do abroad?

Quite naive of people to think their corporate national security military state apparatus only manipulates elections abroad but somehow gains moral enlightenment not to do that at home, when so much rides in keeping certain narratives & people who obey in power to maintain control.

🇪🇺 The EU has come to an agreement on a price cap for Russian gas ($60 USD per barrel.)

The problem with that is Russia has previously stated it will not export to countries who impose a price cap.

What market Capitalism? The EU invents rules in its own make belief world.

If people are thinking about complaining about the situation in their country - please be aware of what Syria is going through right now. 1. Electricity: most areas in Damascus and countryside have only had 30 minutes to one hour in last 24 hours. In the rest of Syria especially rural areas no electricity for 3 days at least. 2. Poor performance of the landline phone network and terrestrial internet due to lack of fuel to run generators during the time of power outage and even the towers powered by solar energy almost shut down because of cloudy weather. 3. Most of the large factories reduced their distribution because their vehicles have no fuel and many closed down until next week - crippling many industries and supply chains. 4. Some government institutions could not conduct electronic transactions on Wednesday and Thursday because there was no electricity or internet. 5. Shops and markets throughout Damascus are closing at sunset because there is no fuel for their generators. 6. Private bakeries reduced production of bread because they cannot operate their machines and ovens. 7. Restaurants reduced production and are only serving cold food or barbecue for the same reasons. 8. Diesel and fuel have disappeared even from the black market with 20L of BM fuel now at 200,000 Syrian pounds (average salary is 150,000, most are earning less). 9. Most government subsidised fuel stations are closed. 10. Queues at the remaining fuel stations are for 24 hours plus. Quantities that do arrive are not enough for demand. There is a restriction of 30L per month anyway. 11. There is a system of sending a message to car owners to come and get their ration of fuel - now there are delays of three weeks for the SMS to be received. Before it was every few days. 12. There is no gas available (bottles) and if they are available on the black market you are talking 150,000 SYP and above, impossible for most people. The average family will use one bottle per week for cooking etc. The bottles are also very poor quality and dangerous. 13. There is no public transport. The roads are literally empty. This means a huge problem for employees and employers with staff unable to come to work etc. 11 years of devastating war and barbaric sanctions, post-war dissonance and insecure borders - the Caesar sanctions punish any nation that comes to assist Syria.

The EU’s in trouble. They continue pushing these price caps on Russian oil, supposedly to take effect after tomorrow. But Russia is literally not going to sell oil at below market value. Period. End of story. So countries pushing this will simply get none-in the middle of winter.
