Everyone is next…eventually.
Whether you believe the propaganda that Maduro was a “narco dictator” isn’t relevant. No other country besides the US or fake Israel can bomb a sovereign country & illegally kidnap its leader and call it “peace”. Those justifying this will see bombs drop on them eventually.

News Media reporting gunfire a drones close to Venezuela’s Miraflores Presidential Palace—Situation Subdued
According to Venezuelan sources, the situation has been subdued. A security body was flying surveillance drones close to Miraflores Palace and did not report it. Presidential guards opened fire, national guards and police were immediately deployed, but for now the situation appears resolved.
There are unfounded and unconfirmed reports of Sukhoi jets flying to Caracas. Haven’t seen any evidence of this.

Speaking at the United Nations Security Council on Monday, Venezuela’s Permanent Representative Samuel Moncada denounced the United States' "illegitimate armed attack lacking any legal justification" that included "the kidnapping of the constitutional president of the republic, Nicolas Maduro Moros, and the first lady Cilia Flores."
Moncada added, "No state can set itself up as a judge, party and executor of the world order … Venezuela is the victim of this attack because of its natural resources," calling on the international community to demand that Washington fully respect the immunities guaranteed to President Maduro and First Lady Flores under international law, as well as "as well as their immediate release and safe return to Venezuela."
He stressed that despite the gravity of the events, Venezuela’s institutions are "functioning normally" and its "constitutional order has been preserved".

Rubio’s boasting of what they did to Gaddafi, which they did to ensure no other leader could unite people against Yankee imperialism, is a threat.
One by one they’re capturing LATAM & this is what they plan to do to Maduro or any LATAM leader who aims to restore LATAM unity.

Dimitriev is Putin's point-man in the US (equivalent to Steve Witkoff) - he has consistently promoted Trump foreign policy and Imperialist agenda. I have not seen a single condemnation from him ref Trump's actions in Venezuela - a supposed ally of Russia. Mark my words, Russia is heading back to the "big" table where it has always wanted to be. The question remains, what sacrifices will be made to get there? Which allies will be compromised on the way?

Vasily Nebenzya called the US actions to seize Nicolas Maduro a robbery.
Other statements by the Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN:
🟥The crime committed by the US in Caracas has no and cannot have any justification. It heralds the return to an era of lawlessness and arbitrariness;
🟥Russia calls on the US to immediately release Nicolas Maduro, the legitimately elected president of Venezuela;
🟥We cannot allow the US to establish itself as an international judge;
🟥Washington is giving a new impetus to neocolonialism and imperialism

Anti-Maduro Supporters Turn Against Trump
For months I’ve been saying that Trump’s actions have turned anti-Maduro Venezuelans against him & towards understanding Maduro & the Venezuelan government, here’s an example:
“We were celebrating Maduro’s capture & were placed here…I don’t know who the bad guys are anymore…”
https://x.com/fiorellaisabelm/status/2008613531684622705?s=46
Here’s the story of a Venezuelan pilot with no criminal record, who fled Venezuela allegedly because of political persecution, got legal visas, and ended up in ICE detention.

From Mision Verdad:
🇻🇪🇺🇸 Brief analysis from Franco Vielma | The biggest intrigue surrounding Delcy Rodríguez's betrayal of Maduro was put forward by the kidnapper himself Trump…
For some, Trump suddenly became a credible, honest, truth-telling individual who doesn't lie or manipulate facts to achieve his goals. The objective truth is that Trump is a convicted felon, prosecuted for crimes and accused of pedophilia, who lied about foreign policy issues such as Gaza, Ukraine, Venezuela (fentanyl, cocaine, prisoners released from jails and mental hospitals, etc), tariffs, and many other topics. Trump, the credible one.
But then why does Trump insist that Delcy should collaborate and "is collaborating"?
1.- Trump says that not to convince Venezuelans, but rather to convince Americans. He wants to project the image that he controls the situation and that there will be no "day-after chaos" after kidnapping the Venezuelan Head of State.
2.- Trump wants the breakdown of Chavismo leadership in Caracas, even if he has to create intrigue for that purpose, it's an express and cheap methodology.
3.- He exerts pressure and intimidation, asserting that he will protect the country. His strength is his weapon, and he's using it.
4.- The very moment he indicated that Delcy was "collaborating", he also threatened her with "a fate worse than Maduro's" if she didn't submit to his tutelage. The threat is unnecessary if Delcy was co-opted.
5.- Trump can't maintain internal order in Venezuela unless he sends troops in the style of Iraq. He doesn't want to do that. Only Chavismo guarantees internal order. And both sides agree on the need for that order. So Trump makes it seem that something that Chavismo will do out of its own conviction, he does for himself. He wants to calm the Americans who criticize him.
6.- Trump insists on a transition that should be carried out by the same Chavismo leadership, but under US tutelage. This is the most ambiguous part of his proposal, but to make it clearer, he dismissed María Corina Machado. But he doesn't set deadlines, he talks about oil, oil infrastructure, etc, and then, if anything, elections. For that, he has to say that he controls Delcy, even if it's not true. Saying "I control" is the best way to cover up the real issue: "he needs Chavismo in charge, Delcy", to present his strategy as a winner the "day after" Maduro.
The other question: why does Delcy Rodríguez indicate that it's necessary to have relations of respect, mutual recognition, and cooperation after what has happened?
1.- Maduro, Venezuela, has been the country that has most defended the implementation of energy agreements with the US. Venezuela was the one that defended Chevron's position against Trump's new sanctions. Why? Because putting American interests in Venezuela is a way of protecting its own oil industry from the same sanctions that come from one US government to another. For that, it's necessary to establish relations.
2.- It's true that Maduro himself, even under the worst threats (like those now on Delcy), insisted on the dialogue. That was public and notorious.
3.- Delcy insists that Maduro is kidnapped and her first decision as acting president is to create a Commission for his release. As in any kidnapping context, you can't break bridges with the kidnapper. You have to negotiate. You have to mediate.
4.- Trump is a narcissistic megalomaniac. Delcy understands his psychology, especially now, that he has the position of strength and demonstrated ability to execute it. She's also an excellent articulator and negotiator, capable of adapting to the context. Let's try to understand not the form, but the substance.
5.- In his style, Trump needs to build bridges. He kidnapped Maduro, but hasn't achieved a regime change. To a large extent, it depends on Chavismo in Caracas. In his style, Trump prefers to say, "I control", rather than: "I have to negotiate". Delcy should align with that.

Can someone explain how this is a military target against a “narco trafficking dictator”?
The United States of Israel is even adopting the same tactics.
Confirmed: The United States completely destroyed a vital scientific and academic center in Venezuela, located in Miranda state.
On Saturday, January 3 at 1:57am, facilities of the Mathematics Center of the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC) were destroyed in the U.S. bombing attack of Venezuela. The Center is part of the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán.
The attack has been described as ‘total’: these areas housed servers and essential equipment for computer networks that were completely devastated.
Two missiles directly hit the area, leaving fragments that show imperial hatred against Venezuela's sovereign technological development.
In addition to the completely destroyed Mathematics Center, four more research centers of the Institute were affected: the Physics Center, Chemistry Center, Ecology Center and Nuclear Technology Unit
These spaces have been fundamental in training the professionals who support health, engineering and oil sovereignty.
Video from Alberto Quintero, Vice Minister of Application of Scientific Knowledge - Director of the Venezuelan Institute of Scientific Research (IVIC)
