1. Russia has a stockpile of gold that's worth 20% of their GDP to hedge against US sanctions

2. Russia and China have been building their own SWIFT system to hedge against US sanctions

OR

The US politicians know this and their bluster is purely mastubatory.

Either our politicians are extremely ignorant of geopolitics or liars.
