There was a running joke that I used to think was hilarious that "DC is just Hollywood for ugly people."
It's become quite clear over the past couple of years that it isn't so much a joke as it is a statement of fact.
Have you noticed that many of your favorite GOP have stopped even really pretending to push back or fight to represent your interests?
It's all one big charade. Radical leftists run as moderates, true progressives run as GOP, and the paymasters decide which way they vote, every time.
Did you know that while Richard Nixxon is often described as a Necon, his admin ushered in far more progressive policies than conservative?
He's accredited with making the joke that he "passed (progressive) legislation that no democrat could ever get passed."
How much do you know about his history?
He left local politics broke before his run for POTUS. Spent a few years working for a "private banking consortium" where he became very rich very quickly, then ran for President as a conservative yet pushed the nation down a progressive path.
How many of our politicians today are virtually the same thing with a different name?
Throw the bums out.
