Ask yourself: if a government is willing to violate & try to strip you of your right to defend yourself from that government, the right itself becomes even more important, doesn’t it?

Just so we're clear, we are now at the point in the Regime where you can get caught participating in a coup against a US POTUS and be back to practicing law within a year (Clinesmith), but arrested for refusing to cooperate with a dog & pony show, political optics-driven clowncar that the vast majority of the nation outside of DC doesn't give much of a shit about.
