NEW — In North Dakota, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation purchased six parcels of land, confirmed by North Dakota Ag Commissioner Doug Goehring.

Tuesday, the office of the Attorney General sent out a letter asking the Red River Trust to confirm how the company plans to use the land and if it meets any of the exceptions to the North Dakota Corporate Farming Laws.

👆👆👆Well so much for everybody insisting she would never go to trial, and if she did, she wouldn't be convicted, and if she was, she'd get some light slap on the wrist.

Ghislaine Maxwell is 60 years old. Any sentence of 30 years or above is essentially a life sentence.

And remember: she still has to go to trial on the perjury charges; she's facing multiple counts and looking at up to 5 years each on each count she's convicted of.

Now the goalposts will move to "Well the judge will give her half that or less!" by people who don't know how anything works and don't understand federal sentencing guidelines that federal judges must follow in imposing sentences.

1) The Senate passes the Red Flag bill
2) Biden signs it into law


What happens is this:

3) Numerous lawsuits are filed challenging the new law on constitutional grounds.
4) Federal courts - likely more than one - issue injunctions freezing the enforcement of the new law while it's constitutionality is the subject of ongoing litigation.
5) Assuming a lower federal court is dumb enough to challenge the SCOTUS on the clear signal it just sent, the case will go up to SCOTUS who will rule the Red Flag law unconstitutional on multiple issues.
