The word transgenderism is a rebranding of the word transsexualism, which is rooted in transvestic fetishism. Transsexualism is the colloquial term for the autogynephilia paraphilia, whereby men, aroused at the fantasy of themselves as females, wear stereotypical women’s clothing, specifically undergarments, to satisfy a sexual compulsion. This used to happen in private.
