As a Washington resident, this is a horrific bill which will be signed into law. This soon to be new law is compounded by a law that was signed into effect during the 2022 #waleg session:

Conservatives only activate to vote in federal elections and tend to have a savior complex that the president will change everything.

The story above about WA is why that has allowed so much damage to be done.

It's not that "blue states" have more progressives. It's that conservatives don't activate to vote locally (state or county) in significant numbers anywhere.
