Everyone can easily agree that Thanos is a bad guy in the movie series where he wants to kill half the population.

The same evil in a business suit promoting policies that will proveably lead to the same outcome (see: Sri Lanka) they seem unable to grasp.

Why?

Of course the price tag doesn't matter when it's not their money. It's just taxpayer cash, and we all know how CA feels about that!
