1. Monday is the “Jewish Day of Disasters” fast, which commemorates a day in which many disasters have

a. Notably, both Solomon’s Temple and the 2nd Temple are believed to have been destroyed on

b. I had my doubts about whether Iran would risk war with a reaction, but that was before I realized the date. If you follow the worst aspects of humanity for long enough, you learn they REALLY like to use special dates and numbers - no, that’s not a conspiracy theory.
2. It was announced that the US has sent Carrier Strike Group 3 to the Middle East along with a reported 4,000 US Marines.
a. Again, on whose orders?
b. Let’s also not forget that the Biden/Harris admin drained the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) for cheap political points - while its purpose is supposed to be for moments like this.
3. Multiple RUS heavy transport planes have been seen landing in Tehran throughout the weekend.
4. In similar but different news, there are now competing theories regarding the Hamas commander getting smoked in Tehran last week: one side says a bomb was smuggled in, others say it was a missile.

5. Again similarly, CNN is now reporting that it was Russian GRU officers who have been arming, training, and aiding the Houthis in Yemen in their targeting of ships and US drones.

6. In happy but, “this should’ve never been an issue” news, the General who gave KSM a plea deal to avoid the death penalty has reportedly been fired and the plea deal rescinded.
7. Bad news for UKR: for the last several months, most of the RUS fighting on the UKR front has been light infantry (a lot of paratroopers).
a. RUS has now reportedly sent a mechanized infantry division to the front, which means
medium to heavy infantry forces will be joining the fray.
b. This comes as UKR has just lost a major supply route/center in Donbas, and another large
element of UKR troops has been encircled in a RUS pincer movement.

1. The Sunday futures, yen movement, and UST yield movement make it look like a bloodbath is coming,
but I would be a tad hesitant before you go and short the market.
a. Market technicals are certainly breaking down, and the jobs data has been weakening for quite
some time.
b. Not investment advice, but I’m expecting volatility for the near term but I’m still sub-50% on believing that this is “the big crash.” It’s coming, but I don’t think it’s coming just yet.
c. The Fed and treasury have been slyly adding liquidity to the market (stealth QE) with taxpayer dollars while not telling the taxpayer.
d. This could be the beginning of the crash, but it could be yet another bear trap.
2. 1 in 3 parents have reported that they can’t afford back-to-school shopping this year according to Credit
Karma, with nearly 35% of parents expecting to incur debt for these costs as reported by

1. A report came out about how Reddit users on r/NoMansSky were able to “game” the online AI-based publications to write a fake story about a specific secret in a video game that does not exist.
a. While you may not care about a video game, extrapolate this to other news bits.
b. It’s a vicious circle of gaslighting:
i. Most AI, especially the Large Language Models, are trained by scraping the internet
for information and understanding of how humans communicate.
ii. If AI is both trained by online info and putting out online info - that can be the result

iii. Also we know the MSM is largely propaganda at this point, and that’s another level of bullshit that gets fed in.

The Russian foreign minister is in Tehran today to strengthen cooperation & the relationship with their new president.
