I've posted in the past on Pfizer blackmailing Brazil and Argentina as conditions for delivering the vaccine. There are now leaks of contracts the company was able to bully other countries to sign off on in exchange for what they consider life-saving medication. These include

- Pfizer mandating government silence on any information about the content of the contracts or any relationship with the company, thus avoiding all public scrutiny
- Pfizer decides on who the shots get distributed to, not the government. This includes a ban on accepting vaccine donations from 3rd parties - in other words, pay up or no shots from anyone.
- Pfizer gets an intellectual property waiver, so if the company is accused of IP theft, the government is on the hook not the company. And the government would be forced to defend the company in court for any theft committed by Pfizer. If the government loses, it would have to pay the victim, not Pfizer.
- Any disputes must be handled by private arbitrators not public courts. So if a government wants to contest any part of the contract, they would have to go to a secret 3 arbitrator panel in New York under New York laws.
- Pfizer can pursue state assets such as military bases, financial reserves, embassies, state-owned companies, etc. as collateral for any compensation. This includes any losses in arbirtration
- Pfizer has full control of all key decisions such as delivery timelines, etc.

This may be one case where I would support going Hugo Chavez on their ass.
