The world's highest paid MMA-fighter, Conor McGregor, has put out a strong statement criticizing the Irish government's tyrannical response to Covid-19.

In particular, McGregor condemned Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, for using the divisive language of blaming the un-vaccinated in a nation that is highly vaccinated.

This is an important moment that will hopefully lead to other athletes and public figures bravely taking a stand against the authoritarian rise of global governments.

After the 5th Circuit Court issued an injunction against Biden's vaccine mandate, OSHA has suspended implementation and enforcement of the mandate. Any employer who enforces the vaccine mandate is doing it outside of the law and risks being sued.

Wait. Didn't New York Times Reporters Win Pulitzer Prizes for Their Coverage of Russia Collusion? - Opinion: How Did So Much of the Media Get the Steele Dossier So Wrong? (New York Times)

Comment: What an amazing column from Mr. Grueskin, a professor of professional practice and former academic dean at Columbia Journalism School. He is critical of numerous media sources, but not the New York Times, a newspaper recognized with Pulitzer Prizes for its coverage of the Russia Collusion story, a story which turned out to be fiction.

He is especially critical of President Trump, bringing up Stormy Daniels, as she was a significant player in the Steele dossier and the Russia collusion story (not).

He mentions only one New York Times reporter, lauding him for a statement that said unverified rumors from the dossier should not be published.

This is dreck. This criticizes media sources and reporters who did not work for the New York Times only and then tries to justify the behavior of the press by, well, Orange Man bad.

The Columbia School of Journalism should be ashamed of this work. The New York Times should be ashamed (they never are) for publishing this. This is not a mea culpa. This throws mud at everyone else, while the folks in the Ivory Times smile and congratulate themselves, while shining their Pulitzers.

Amazingly, the New York Times did not allow for comments on this column.
