Oregon Governor Photographed at Party Without a Mask as Her State Seeks Permanent Indoor Mask Mandate
🇺🇸😷@COVID19Up: Oregon Governor Kate Brown was photographed at a Washington, D.C. party on Saturday (Dec. 4) not wearing a mask as her state seeks a permanent indoor mask mandate.
The photo showed Brown posing with two other men, one who was the deputy director of operations for Vice President Kamala Harris. All three are not wearing masks in the photo.
While Oregon currently has an indoor mask mandate, Washington, D.C.—where the gala took place—does not have an indoor mask mandate.
The Oregon Health Authority met with a rules advisory committee on Thursday (Dec 2) to discuss issuing permanent indoor mask mandates across the state.

So I would prefer, and we all would prefer, that people would be voluntarily getting vaccinated, but if they’re not gonna do that sometimes you’ve gotta do things that are unpopular, but that clearly supersede individual choices, and are directed predominantly at the communal good, and thats what we are talking about, when we are talking about requirements.”
