-everyone There were a lot of folks asking for clarity regarding some of the details of our filtering, so this is paraphrased/copied from -theericstone (thanks Eric!) :

This methodology is not about weeding out new users at all. Quite the contrary, we want GodMode to be an opportunity for new community members to come to Flipside just as much as we want existing community members to have a chance to own one (which they still do, this is why markets exist!)

The vast majority of the 5000+ addresses that were eliminated were because they were part of funding clusters: groups of addresses a single entity is using to sign up for multiple spots (in some cases hundreds of them) whether with new or existing discord, twitter, or Ethereum addresses. We use network analysis, address labeling, and clustering techniques to identify these groups, almost entirely based on on-chain activity of the associated wallet addresses.

We also eliminated a smaller number of entries that used entirely new sets of credentials (not just one, but all 3 being new -- twitter, discord, and Ethereum address, all with no history prior to the Premint also DQ'd someone) because this behavior is typically indicative of a systematic attempt to win multiple slots.

The goal of this approach is to make the launch as fair as possible for anyone who followed the rules to sign up (1 entry per person)

We all know firsthand that it is disappointing not to get to mint an NFT you really like, but this is just the beginning, and we will be rewarding Flipside community members in many ways in the coming weeks and months. We can't wait for what's next!

Also just to reiterate, if you really want a GodMode and you didn't get a mint spot, the secondary market on OpenSea will be live immediately after the mint, and we encourage you to grab one there!

Also just a reminder that the mint will be Tuesday, June 7th mint begins for allow list winners. The mint will last for 24 hours. This will be followed by a waitlist minting, which will last until all remaining NFTs have been minted.
