Update for you all where we are at what’s been happening.

Firstly sorry the communication hasn’t been as good as it should be, I take full responsibility. From my perspective I haven’t wanted to give a hard commitment on a launch date that we then have to walk back again.

So what’s been happening??? It’s literally been 12-15 days for weeks grinding to get this out and make it as good as it can be. For me I’ve tried to tune everything else out so I can focus on getting this done as quick as possible hence the lack of activity on discord.

We had the zombies half assembled and good to go and I pulled them and had the illustrators rework on the traits as wasn’t happy plus wanted to change the backgrounds colours. All new hair, reoutline all the clothing and more. That set us back and prob cost us a week and a half.

Yes there are a team of artists. But… they are illustrators only. It is still on me to design, assemble, generate everything. I have some local designers coming in next week to help push the mutants out quicker. Again it’s on me as I under estimated how long it would take to produce the corresponding zombie/mutant derivatives for the 489 V1s.

In addition we have been working on something fucking HUGE. This is bigger than just being the launch of a v2 collection. So much bigger. A massive amount of time, energy and money has gone into this.

I haven’t wanted to talk about it and hype it until we launch but we will be dropping it very very soon. Days not weeks.

I get everyone wants v2 out as quickly as possible. But let’s be clear. I don’t want Goanna to be an nft project pumping out v2, v3, v4 every few months. Chances are we won’t release a major Goanna NFT collection after this for at least another 6-12 months if at all.

I have a long term vision for the Goanna brand and while I understand a delay of a month or two seems huge at the moment when the plan is to build something out over years I would rather take our time and do it right.

Hey hey folks ✨ , thought I'd give more clarity on our payout structures. In general there are 3 payout structures for now:
1. Regular
2. Top X
3. Tiered payment

If the bounty does not specify which payout structure, that means we'll be using the regular payout structure.

1. Passing scores for regular payout structures:
Easy : Score of 8 and above to PASS
Medium : Score of 5 and above to PASS
Hard : Score of 6 and above to PASS
Elite : Score of 8 and above to PASS

2. Top X
Only the top X (for example top 3) would be rewarded. This would be stated clearly in the bounty denoscription. This can also come in the form of scores. For example, only dashboards with scores of 10 and above are paid out. So while you would receive an 'approved' in your submission status, only dashboards of 10 and above are paid out.

3. Tiered payout structure bounty

For easy & medium:

0-6: No payouts
7: 50% payout
8: 75% payout
9-10: 100% payout
11-12: 150% payout

For hard & elite:
0-7: No payouts
8: 50% payouts
9: 75% payout
10: 100% payout
11-12: 150% payout

Timings for Gonna V2 Release

LFG this has been a long time coming, so very excited to finally be sharing the timings for this weekends release.

WL Drop: Sat 2pm PT (open for 22 hours)
Public Shuffle: Sun 2pm PT
Free Mints (eggs, bites, fruit) TBC

The white list drop will open this Saturday at 2pm PT.
Approved wallets will be able to mint up to their allocated amount of Lizards.
It will remain open until Sunday 12 Noon PT so everyone will have plenty of time to mint.
After this any uncollected NFTs from the WL allocation will be rolled over into the public drop.
