In the days I went missing (only 2 days actually) I was developing my own navigation framework to replace viewpager2 for better mimicking iOS. The expected result is shown above.
It's basically done but I still need to finish the lifecycle integration. I'm also planning to add things like drag gestures, iOS like shared element transition.
I made it as lightweight as possible and you can see there's almost no GPU overdraw :D
But that's just a demonstration app, in accord's final product you will still see some excessive overdraw due to current navigation structure (and bottom sheet)
Let me know if you want me to make it into a library (And it will still be open sourced if it's not a library)
P.S. video reuploaded

Announcement
Accord will be close sourced until further notice. This is due to entities distributing compiled products derived from Accord's code without following the GPL-3 license — Specifically, releasing proprietary binaries accross the Internet and multiple social media platforms.
We have identified several suspicious repositories distributing application packages that, upon JADX decompilation, appear substantially similar to Accord, while keeping their source private and publishing fake fabricated AI codes as "partially open-sourced content" to gain legitmacy on Github.
As the attribution and syntax becomes ambigious after Proguard obfuscation, we will not take action directly against those entities at this time. Instead, we chose a passive approach: Make accord close sourced and monitor the situation.
We acknowledges that accord is a GPL-3 licensed app. As the application is developed by two members of United Software, we have obtained their permission to transition the project to a proprietary state for now.
However, don't be sad yet. Our commitment to FOSS and community contribution remains unchanged. It is planned that Accord code will be open sourced (including Accord's libraries) after Accord's initial release. Any recognized developer in our community @FoedusDiscussion can ask for obtaining a latest copy of Accord's source code. Plus, the development journals will be there on time still, and it is planned to be a close beta test soon. Please stay tuned.
It is a desperate method that we're forced to take. We don't want our contributions getting claimed unrighteously before Accord even is released.
We hope that you can understand our decisions.

Can anyone suggest the new UX design for our "browsing page"?
Apple music has such designs that gives you new songs from the library (It has nothing to do with user based recommendation! Just random tracks).
In accord this page should be the browser to your local library, which should have functionalities like viewing tracks by name/album/genre etc. But since accord is a local player we can't really have information flow categorizing tracks like apple music's top banner section.
Feel free to give ideas in direct messages or in our group chat. (Would be best if you share photos / screenshots / drafts about it.)

Google is further increasing their monopoly on Android.
This is after they already forced app developers to backdoor every app in Play Store published since 2021 by forcing app developers to upload their private keys for "security" and "convenience". The reality is that Google can modify the code however they want and resign the app without anyone ever noticing. (Research "Play App Signing" for more information.)
Remember to support alternative app stores like F-Droid, offering trusted reproducible developer-signed builds.
