I was just invited to speak to a group of Vietnam vets tonight via zoom.
The organizer said that they were grateful and honored that I would meet with them.
Actually, he has it backwards.
It is my honor and privilege to serve some of those who have sacrificed and served our country.
There is a special place in my heart for our Vietnam vets. I turned eighteen and registered for the selective service just as the Vietnam war was ending. Instead of serving in the military, I received scholarships to go to school.
I saw the way we treated these folks, and it is embarrassing. Especially when I was treated so well.
It's the least I can do. It's my turn to serve our country.

Today, in a 9-7 decision, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against an injunction previously placed against Ohio’s Down Syndrome Non-Discrimination Act

I just finished a zoom with eight American heroes. All officers, all from top military academies in the country, all Vietnam veterans. All amazing.
I am sitting here, basking in the moment, overwhelmed with pride in my country. A country that has produced men like this who have served us so well.
I am also humbled. What an honor to speak with these gentlemen. I had no idea when I agreed to do this meeting what a distinguished group of people they would be.
They had seen my Lindell interview, and some of them also the MI Preliminary report, and they had some questions for me. I answered their questions, but I learned a lot from them too.
They already knew much of what I have only just learned during the past year, and they are very concerned about the course of our country.
And they've already begun to do something about it.
Including praying for me.
One of the guys said that our country has been divided into "tribes." He couldn't be more correct.
It's time for each of us to decide which tribe we want to be in, and to begin acting accordingly.
I'm proud to be in a tribe with guys like this.

So, since they can't win in court (the case against her was dismissed), they have resorted to spreading false information, spreading the rumor that the Pub has been closed down.
Not true. Open, alive, and kicking.
How about taking a friend out to dinner or for a drink? I know a great place in Canton...

The health department was threatening, but folks like Joe Blystone joined in the fray, and with all of us applying extra public pressure, they have caved.
