Ohio and Sweden have similar populations, but Ohio has twice as many deaths due to Covid.

At the beginning the pandemic, I told folks that we would compare these two situations in order to determine if the tyrannical behavior of Ohio’s RINO governor was justified. Sweden relied heavily on individual responsibility rather than unscientific and unjustified emergency orders.

The proof is in the pudding.

One could credibly argue that DeWine’s tyrannical behavior as Ohio governor is responsible for about 20,000 deaths.

In response to my earlier post, someone suggested that Michigan might be a better comparison versus Sweden instead of Ohio, so I looked up the stats. The death rate in Michigan is worse than that in Ohio, and the death rate in both states is about twice that of Sweden.

Early during the pandemic I said that I would compare Ohio stats to Sweden’s because of similar populations but dramatic difference in response to the pandemic.

Ohio’s tyrannical governor was one of the first to close schools, restaurants, and bars, for example. Sweden’s approach was far more respectful of individual liberty.

Stated differently, our state governments are not only guilty of ignoring their constitutional obligation to defend our liberty, their responses to the pandemic resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of our citizens.

Our state governments are guilty of murder.
