“The Bank Vault”

Funds have been disappearing from a community bank.

When the citizens notice that their account balances have been diminishing mysteriously, they complain. The banker assures them, “There is no fraud here. We have the most secure banking systems in the country.”

Some of the citizens are not convinced, and request copies of the bank records. The banker resists at first, but eventually relents. Local businesses and citizens survey their registers and wallets, and discover that the serial numbers on some their currency correspond to a series of missing bills in the bank records.

The citizens bring their evidence to the sheriff, and he launches an investigation. And although he still doesn’t have any suspects, he finds evidence that the electronic banking records are disguising the theft, and the electronic combination on the safe has been hacked.

The citizens appear before a judge and present their evidence, and the sheriff confirms that their concerns are valid, although the investigation is ongoing.

In the meantime, the citizens request that the judge orders a temporary restraining order stating that until further notice, all banking transactions must be recorded in paper ledgers, with hand-counting of the currency and an armed guard protecting the deposits.

Companies that manufacture the safes and electronic records systems lobby loudly to keep things the way they are. Politicians and legislators pass laws forcing the citizens and the bank to continue using the suspect systems.

And all the while the campaign coffers of the politicians are growing.

"Infighting"

My philosophy in this national struggle follows a military analogy:
1) If someone's weapons are aimed at the enemy, I will not aim my weapons at them;
2) If someone has similar purpose to mine, I will cooperate with them;
3) If someone is thoughtful and productive, and serves my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I may invite them into my foxhole, or join them in theirs;
4) If someone is careless, and dropping hand-grenades all the time, I will not invite them into my foxhole;
5) Lives are at stake. This is not a game.

Such a delight to participate in the Nebraska Election Integrity event hosted by patriot Robert Borer this weekend.

I was pleased to learn that he is running as a write-in candidate for governor.

Obviously, I am delighted to endorse his run, and encourage all Nebraskans to support his candidacy with funds and legwork.

Bob is the real deal!

During yesterday's Election Integrity Forum in Omaha, I was pretty hard on Nebraska's Secretary of State Evnen.

I said that he was incompetent to fill the office as he has made several public and dramatic errors in the management of Nebraska's elections, and has still not acknowledged the magnitude of the problem he faces.

During my previous visit to give public testimony before Nebraska's legislature, he embarrassed himself during his testimony by making several immediately demonstrable erroneous comments.

In my defense, he refuses to meet with me in person, and has only addressed straw-man versions of my legitimate concerns regarding his manipulated and still vulnerable elections.

Nevertheless, I do not see him as an evil person, just not well-suited to his office.

When someone at the Forum said that they "Did not want to put words into his mouth," I hastily and acerbically quipped that if they did, "they should remember to use one-syllable words."

This demeanor is not in keeping with my general conciliatory approach, and shows insufficient respect for the office which Evnen occupies.

I apologize for my comments, and will work on my attitude.
