"Four North Carolina Counties"

I showed these four graphs in NC last evening. They created quite a stir!

Please note that four of the five traces in these graphs are simply depicting official data.

I downloaded the 2020 General Election data from the NC Secretary of State website in early 2021, and the blue curves from the US Census (2019).

The gray curves depict those voters who are registered "inactive," the black those who are registered active, the red are those who are recorded as having actually voted, and the light blue curve is my prediction by age of the number of registered voters who actually voted.

As you can see, by age there are more people registered as active voters than they have people of those ages. And some of the ages have perfect turnouts of the entire population for that age.

In order to make these predictions, I study a single county in the state, then employ the same relative turnout for every age to predict the other counties.
