"David and Goliath"

After speaking at an event this week in Wisconsin, a lovely elderly couple approached me and asked if they could pray for me. "Of course!" I complied.

During the prayer, she prayed, "Dear Father, thank you for Dr. Frank, and that he is making a stand for truth. Thank you for giving him the opportunity to stand before Goliath, and for giving him a big slingshot to fight the enemy with. We also pray that you will give him really big stones..."

Despite my best efforts, at that point I began to snicker. I really tried to maintain my composure... I promise.

When she finally said, "amen." I still had a grin on my face and she looked at me, bewildered.

I said to her, "You just prayed that God would give me really big stones."

Her face turned beet red and she burst into uncontrollable, embarrassed laughter.

What a delightful lady!
