"My Favorite Daydream"

I often ponder what God's ideal would be for me in various situations. Especially when I'm sitting stalled in traffic.

After all... God originally designed us to be running around naked in a garden. But we're no longer in that situation.

Jesus Christ wore sandals and clothes and traveled his home country spreading the good news of the Kingdom. He also apprenticed as a builder (tekton). So by His example we know that we are to adapt to our current circumstanes to at least some degree.

So, would Jesus Christ drive a car? Eat potato chips or sugary drinks? Have a mortgage? Work nine to five and attend church on Sundays?

Somehow, I suspect not.

So, I like pondering how his modern life might be different than mine, and then perhaps consider possible modifications.

Although clearly impractical, and likely scary, it would be kinda fun running around naked all the time...
