I attended this event with Nellie this morning. Many of you were there, and it was fun to meet and hug and be normal.

Once again, I was impressed by our Ohio SuperMoms. Candice Keller, obviously, but also Jennifer Sherwood Gross, Connie Tucker, and Janet Porter.
The meeting had a stronger religious flavor than I was expecting, but nevertheless perfectly appropriate:

I grew up on a small ranch. One of my primary responsibilities was to track the estrus of our livestock, and I carried a small notebook and pencil in my overalls for this purpose.
When the time was right, I would put the buck in with the doe. The boar in with the sow. And we used AI to manage our purebred Angus herd, so my job was especially critical with the cows.
Sex is a beautiful thing, and God invented it.
Even the pine trees in our front yard have male and female components.
The first thing the doctor or midwife says when a child is born is, "Congratulations, you have a baby boy/girl!"
And the thing is, it's usually really easy to tell. You are either an "innie" or an "outie."
Not only was sex created by God, it is also fundamental to the biological sciences and in biochemistry.
I find it ironic that the same people who claim to be following the science are the ones who can't tell the difference between an innie and an outie, the difference between Covid and the flu, between climate and weather, between

So it is no accident that these same blind guides also promote anti-religious agendas. The fundamental things that God has given us, including sex, life, and liberty, are the very things they attack at their core.
These blind guides need to be shown the door. Expeditiously.
Not only is it common sense, it's also really good science.
Any farm boy can tell you.

Another note about EmpowerU Ohio. I noticed that Jay Richards is giving a class there on March 25th. I've been following Jay's work for decades... he is top notch. I'm busy, but I'm making time for this class.

On my way home from school today I had a lovely phone call with one of the organizers of EmpowerU Ohio.
She said that the enrollment for my Climate Change class this coming Thursday night is pushing 300 enrollees. Wow!
I'm having too much fun putting my slides together... and I'm hoping you will have even more fun enjoying them with me during the class.

So, I was talking to a lovely patriot the other day who manages a polling place on election day.
She was explaining to me all the security details they use to make sure that every person who casts a vote is who they say they are. Photo ID's, addresses, signature verification, etc.
She was very proud of the job she does, and she has every right to be. I appreciate her service.
But then I asked her a question that I already knew the answer to.
I asked, "So, after you reported your precinct numbers, were you able to confirm with the county that they'd received the correct numbers, and that the totals for your county were correct?"
... (pause) ...
"No."
This is precisely the sort of accountability and transparency that is lacking throughout the current system.
And it makes us incredibly vulnerable to funny business.

I severely edited my Climate Change talk, and it is still an hour long. But we had lots of fun. I kept the number of graphs to a minimum, and emphasized "explaining with crayons."

As I mention in the video, I've been carefully Following the Data on this topic for almost forty years. So it was hard for me to trim down my talk. As it is, I still only got through about 2/3 of my slides!

Facebook has a feature I really like, where it shows you a post from a prior year. This was from one year ago, today.

And the arrival of this time capsule is stunningly apropos, for today I begin an even more terrifying journey than the one many of us began together one year ago.

Dear friends, please pray for me, and for our country.

And may the Peace of God, the Peace that passes all human understanding, fill our hearts and minds, as together we seek the Truth and the Light.

God can carry you, but He gives you feet and legs and expects you to walk there.

God is the Prime Mover, but He expects you to use the hands He has given you.

God is the ultimate source of all knowledge and wisdom, yet He has given us intellects and the ability to choose.

God is before, during, and after all time. He already knows all outcomes and has prescribed all circumstances.

It seems like a maze, where we explore, learn, and follow, but nevertheless choose each fork along the path.

Our best chance of solving the puzzle is to listen, use the gifts He has provided, and submit our wills to His.

It’s up to Him, but it is also up to us.

What a fascinating arrangement.
