Jeremy Clarkson has revealed the identities of all three Stigs from BBC’s “Top Gear.”
The original Stig was Perry McCarthy, a British Le Mans and Formula 1 driver who appeared as the “Black Stig” during the first two seasons before being written out by being launched off an aircraft carrier.
The second Stig was Ben Collins, a British racing driver and stunt performer who served until 2010. He was let go after revealing his identity in his autobiography, “The Man in the White Suit,” leading the show to mock his actions in subsequent episodes.
The third and final Stig was Phil Keen, a British racing driver known for his success in the European Le Mans Series and GT3 class. His identity remained a secret until the recent “The Grand Tour’s” final episode.
