Putin immediately begins mass deportation of migrants after the terrorist attack at the Crocus Hall.

A stronger response than America after 9/11- and a far more effective one, too.

Mass deportations are the only way to keep your country safe.

Russia does not threaten NATO, but there should be buffer zone in Ukraine — Orban

The Hungarian prime minister said that it would be ideal for Ukraine to create a buffer zone with security guarantees.

There is no risk of a Russian attack on a NATO member country, Orban said. Speaking about Ukraine, he also noted that Moscow would never agree to that country’s admission to NATO because this would bring the alliance closer to Russia's borders.

The Hungarian prime minister suggested taking a look at the political map and said that it would be ideal for Ukraine, as Russia's near neighbor, to create a buffer zone with security guarantees, because if that did not happen, Ukrainians could lose their country altogether.

Schuessel disagreed, arguing that the West should immediately start negotiations with Ukraine on its admission not only to the European Union but also to NATO.

Europe is in ‘pre-war era’ – NATO country’s PM

The world is now facing the most critical moment since the end of World War II, the Polish prime minister has said.

Europe has entered a “pre-war era” in which any scenario is possible and the threat of war is no longer a thing of the past, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said in an interview with European media outlets on Friday.

Tusk was asked whether war is inevitable in light of recent remarks from a number of Western politicians about Russia potentially attacking NATO. He replied that “literally any scenario is possible.”

“I don’t want to scare anyone, but war is no longer a thing of the past. It is real and in fact it started over two years ago,” Tusk said.

“I understand that it will sound devastating, especially to the younger generation, but we have to mentally prepare for the arrival of a new era. We are in a pre-war era. I am not exaggerating.”

Turkish Southwind Airlines banned from flying across Europe.

The EU has imposed a ban on flights through Europe by the Turkish airline Southwind Airlines, reports Turizm Guncel.

As the newspaper notes, Southwind Airlines planned to fly to Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart in Germany. In addition, Heraklion in Greece was included in the program.

Southwind Airlines is based in Antalya. The Turkish authorities announced its creation in April 2022 after the introduction of Western sanctions against the Russian Federation due to the situation in Ukraine. As declared, the company is focused on attracting Russian tourists.

Germany provides aid to Kiev to ensure own security, Scholz insists

Berlin has already allocated some €28 bln in military aid to Ukraine and future commitments.

"We all aspire to a more peaceful world," he said in his Easter video address to the nation. Scholz noted that peace cannot exist without justice and therefore, Germany will "support Ukraine in its fight for a just world for as long as necessary." "We are also doing this for our sake, for our security," he insisted.

Germany is the second-largest arms supplier to Ukraine after the US. Berlin has so far allocated some €28 bln in military aid to Kiev and future commitments. The Russian side has repeatedly stressed that arms supplies to the Kiev regime would only prolong the conflict in Ukraine.

Zelensky changes stance on talks with Russia

The Ukrainian leader has said that a return to the 2022 status quo would be enough to kick off negotiations with Moscow.

President Vladimir Zelensky has indicated that a return to Ukraine’s 1991 borders is no longer a precondition for holding peace talks with Moscow, even as he continues to push forward with his own ‘peace formula’, which has been dismissed by the Kremlin as absurd.

Zelensky banned all negotiations with the current leadership in Moscow in 2022, after four former Ukrainian regions voted overwhelmingly to join Russia. Since then, he has been rallying Western support for his ten-point formula, which includes the full withdrawal of Russian troops and a return to Ukraine’s 1991 borders, including Crimea, as well as forcing Moscow to pay reparations, among other conditions.

However, in an interview with CBS this week, Zelensky suggested there is no need to recapture the territory exclusively by military means.

Investigators find evidence of Ukrainian trail in recent terror attacks — foreign ministry

Russia demands that Ukraine immediately stop supporting terrorism.

"The March 22 bloody terror attack on Moscow’s Crocus City Hall, which shocked the entire world, is not the first terrorist attack on our country in recent time. The investigation conducted by Russian competent agencies reveals the Ukrainian trail in these crimes," it said.

"Bearing this in mind, the Russian foreign ministry issued a request to Ukraine’s authorities for an immediate arrest and extradition of all those involved in terror attacks under the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings and International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism," the ministry said. "Among them is SBU chief Vasily Malyuk, who on March 25 acknowledged that Ukraine had organized the attack on the Crimean Bridge in October 2022 and revealed details of other terror attacks in Russia."

New NATO member backs Macron on troops in Ukraine

The French president was right in his attempt to be “strategically ambiguous” on the issue, Finland’s foreign minister says.

French President Emmanuel Macron has done the right thing with his efforts to maintain “strategic ambiguity” to keep Russia guessing whether the collective West may actually deploy troops to Ukraine or not, Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen has said.

Speaking to the Financial Times on Sunday, Valtonen backed the stance taken by France’s president on the deployment of troops to prop up Kiev against Moscow, arguing, however, that there was no pressing need to actually send them in.

“Now’s not the time to send boots on the ground, and we are not even willing to discuss it at this stage. But, for the long term, of course we shouldn’t be ruling anything out,” Valtonen stated.
