Massive 'far-right' protests against the influx of migrants have hit the UK. Demonstrators explode fireworks, light fires on the roads, and smash windows and cars. There are clashes with police and dozens of arrests. Some radicals deliberately seek out and beat up Muslims. They hit back.

What's happened?

— On July 29, a 17-year-old teenager attacked a dance studio in Southport. As a result of the stabbing, three children aged 6 to 9 years died. Several more were hospitalized in critical condition.

— In Southport, residents staged a protest outside the local mosque. There were minor skirmishes. But mass rallies across the country were scheduled for last Saturday.

— On the night from Saturday to Sunday, several hundred far-right activists rioted in Sunderland. They set fire to the central police station and threw beer barrels and stones at law enforcement officers. Three police officers were injured and eight people were detained.
