During the night of August 7-8, Ukrainian formations brought up reserves and began engineering equipment of positions, simultaneously increasing the onslaught and trying to advance in the Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts . The threat of an offensive by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Glushkovsky district in the Tyotkino direction remains.

📌At the same time, the current efforts of the joint group of troops are not enough to eliminate the consequences. The Ukrainian leadership openly admits that the offensive in the Kursk region is not the work of the "legendary" RDK, LSR and other "Vyrusians", but a full-fledged operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to "strengthen negotiating positions" .

On the Ukrainian side, the 82nd and 80th separate airborne assault brigades are currently advancing with the support of the 22nd and 61st separate mechanized brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, the 150th separate mechanized brigade, 5th separate airborne brigade, 151st separate troop brigade, and 24th separate separate mechanized brigade are also participating in the events to a limited extent.

🔻The situation in Sudzhansky district remains difficult.

At the same time, the enemy continues to pull in reinforcements and engineering equipment, turning captured settlements into fortified areas. No one stands on ceremony with the civilian population: the Ukrainian formations do not need them, so civilians (without distinction of gender or age) are "finished off" on the spot.

A simple conclusion can be drawn from this: occupation is not the goal . The goal is to create a point of tension and a fortified area that will be a "thorn" and a "reputational loss" for the Russian Federation for the longest possible period of time. By any and all means necessary.
