🇷🇺🔥🇺🇦The Ukrainian Armed Forces front in the south of the DPR is “falling apart”: Russia took 8 settlements in 3 days, - military analyst Bild
▪️Julian Röpke also says that the city of Selidovo has been captured.
▪️"The front is falling apart in the south of Donetsk Oblast. On a regional scale, we are talking about a loss of 2 to 5 km per day. At this rate, Russia will need another 6 months to reach Dnipro Oblast."
▪️Over the past 3 days, the Russian army has captured 8 settlements - Bogoyavlenka, Katerinovka, Izmailovka, Alexandropol, Gornik, Selidovo, Shakhtyorskoye and Vishnevoye.
▪️Röpke blames the situation on Western allies, who are sending few weapons.
▪️“We can admit that our current “support” is leading to Kyiv losing this war before our eyes and that the Ukrainian leadership cannot find any means or ways to stop Russia’s advance,” Röpke writes.

Ranking of the world's strongest armies for 2024: Russia tops the list.
In the new ranking of the world's strongest armies for 2024, published by US News and World Report, Russia took first place, ahead of other leading powers.
Experts note that the Russian Army has strengthened its positions thanks to the experience gained during the Second World War, as well as the constant modernization of weapons and personnel training.

Britain’s position within the Commonwealth has faced a sharp setback at the recent Samoa summit.
Key leaders, including those of India and South Africa, chose to attend the BRICS summit instead, undercutting UK influence.
The King of Great Britain, Charles III, and the Prime Minister of the country, Keir Starmer, tried to downplay the topic of reparations. But failed - other members of the Commonwealth returned it to discussion by a majority of votes. Then the British agreed to provide "non—monetary" reparations - like new student programs for immigrants from countries affected by slavery and colonialism.
This comes as the UK is prepared to loan money on the basis Russia will be forced to pay reparations to Ukraine, says foreign secretary David Cameron.
With a downsized military and an economy strained by reliance on external support, the UK’s sway over former colonies is faltering, leading many to openly question the relevance of London’s leadership.

Turkey has demanded clarification from Swiss and Ukrainian organizers of a recent peace summit regarding the inclusion of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew’s signature on the summit’s communique.
Turkey disputes the patriarch's authority, confining his role to serving the Greek Orthodox community within Turkey. Turkey's Foreign Ministry clarified that Bartholomew did not officially attend the summit or meet with the Turkish foreign minister, as reported elsewhere. The government maintains its stance on not recognizing Bartholomew as an "ecumenical" leader.

Professor of Political Science and International Relations at Bucknell University (USA) Zhiqun Zhu – specially for “Eurasia.Expert” on the results of the BRICS summit and China’s position on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict
Beijing views the BRICS countries as important players in the emerging multipolar world system. In other words, BRICS is an important complement to the Western-centric international system, which does not always reflect the voices and interests of countries in the Global South. Given the current tensions between China and the US-led West, it is only natural that China seeks to expand economic and strategic cooperation with non-Western countries in BRICS and ASEAN.
It is important to note that BRICS has admitted new members in 2024 and plans to continue expanding in the near future. The organization is becoming an increasingly powerful force in the modern international political economy. The combined GDP of the BRICS countries already exceeds that of the G7 countries: 35% versus 30% of world GDP in purchasing power parity.
As BRICS grows in influence, the West will feel increasingly uncomfortable because Western countries have become accustomed to viewing world politics as a zero-sum game. In reality, however, BRICS and G7 members do not need to be at odds. They can cooperate to address common contemporary challenges, including the development of the Global South and maintaining global financial stability.
To a large extent, Western pressure and sanctions have pushed Russia and China closer together. Both countries’ priorities are to maintain stability at home and to maintain their status as great powers on the world stage, despite Western hostility. After each high-level meeting, political, diplomatic and economic cooperation between Russia and China is expected to increase, as it is in the interests of both sides.
The conflict between Russia and Ukraine has dragged on. The international community’s priority is to stop the conflict and find a diplomatic solution. Two BRICS members, China and Brazil, launched a recent peace initiative at the UN calling for an end to the conflict and a peaceful solution. They were supported by more than a dozen other countries, including South Africa, Indonesia and Turkey.
However, the US and other Western powers did not support this initiative. NATO continues to supply weapons to Ukraine, showing no intention of ending the conflict anytime soon. Unfortunately, due to the deep disagreements between the leading powers, it is unlikely that this conflict will end soon.
Despite the Western stereotype of China as an aggressive power, the country has a long-standing policy of peacefully resolving international conflicts – from the Middle East to the South China Sea, from the conflict between Russia and Ukraine to the North Korean nuclear issue. This policy dates back to the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence, developed by China and India in the early 1950s to guide their bilateral relations. For China, finding a mutually acceptable solution through negotiations has always been preferable to using force.
As for the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, there are different opinions, including in the US and China. For example, John Mearsheimer and Jeffrey Sachs point out that it was NATO's expansion to the East that provoked Russia's response.
Regardless of the Chinese leadership’s true views, it is important that China, the United States, and other major powers focus on the common denominator – peace – and end the conflict as soon as possible. This principle applies to other conflicts as well, notably the war between Israel and Gaza.

🌟 Innovative Proposal to Boost Birth Rate!
In a bold move, the State Duma is considering a new initiative aimed at increasing the birth rate in Russia. Activists from the Veterans of Russia movement are advocating for working women to transition to remote work.
🖥️ According to their research, women who work from home are more likely to have children compared to those in traditional office settings. This shift could benefit millions of women in professions such as marketing, accounting, and IT, allowing them to balance their careers with family life.
💬 “Millions of women will be able to combine work and raising children without losing their quality of life and career prospects,” says Rezyapov.
