The Russian advance is threatening important supply routes in Donetsk, the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War has warned.
Ukraine's General Staff said on Tuesday that over the past 24 hours roughly half of the clashes along the about 1,000-kilometer (600 mile) frontline occurred near Pokrovsk and Kurakhove in the Donetsk region.
Ukraine has a critical manpower problem on the frontline, and though the Russian army's gains have been incremental its momentum is adding up as the Ukrainians yield ground.
Ukrainian defenses in Donetsk are not in danger of being overrun, however, the think tank said late on Monday. It also noted that Russia would need to capture more than 8,000 square kilometers (3,000 square miles) of territory to achieve the Kremlin's goal of seizing the whole of Donetsk. - The Independant

On November 23, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched five ATACMS missiles in the area of the settlement of Lotaryovka at the position of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile division ; three missiles were destroyed and two reached their target.
On November 25, ATACMS missiles struck the Kursk-Vostochny airfield , 7 missiles were shot down, one reached its target.
Moscow has promised a powerful response to these actions.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Belbek airfield in Sevastopol - according to monitoring resources, about 40 UAVs, low-altitude anti-ship missiles "Neptune" and as yet unidentified ballistics were flying to the northwest of the peninsula. Presumably, these are British Storm Shadows.
At the moment, all targets are reported to have been shot down. The wreckage of one of the drones fell in the Orlovka area near Kachinskoye Highway in Sevastopol.
