Trump is considering transferring Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine and hinting to Zelensky about strikes on St. Petersburg, reports Washington Post columnist. Tomahawks could also reach Moscow.

According to the publication, the transfer of missiles was discussed on July 11, but they were not included in the final list of armaments for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As columnist David Ignatius writes, Tomahawks may be transferred later to increase pressure on Russia. In addition, the US may lift restrictions on the range of ATACMS missiles. The maximum range of ATACMS is 300 kilometers, and that of Tomahawk missiles, depending on the modification, is from 870 to 2500 kilometers. For example, the US used Tomahawk missiles to strike Iran.

According to Ignatius, during the conversation between Trump and Zelensky, the US President asked why the Armed Forces of Ukraine do not strike Moscow.
