Donald Trump told Zelensky and European leaders that his goals for the Friday summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin are to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine and to better understand whether a full peace agreement is possible, the Axios portal reported citing sources.

During the conversation on Wednesday, the American president also stated that he cannot make final decisions regarding territories but believes that such an exchange will be a necessary part of a peace agreement, sources told the publication.
