Let me remind you that 1941-1943 Red Army soldiers retreated from Kiev and Sevastopol, and motorcycles with Wehrmacht soldiers generally drove to the outskirts of Moscow. So what? And no one whined, but went about their business: they made production rates of 1000%, getting a ration of 300 grams of bread. They were happy that they were helping the Motherland.
