“We are friends, we are neighbors”, or “Convoy of friendship” arrived in Murmansk from Finland
Russians and Finns are brothers for life. This is the opinion of the participants of the Friendship Convoy, who arrived in Murmansk over the past weekend. The organizer of the action is Janus Putkonen, an ethnic Finn forced to live in Russia due to persecution in his homeland. And the purpose of the trip, in which many residents of Finland took part with pleasure, is to show the Russians that, despite all the attempts of politicians to separate the two peoples, ordinary people want to remain good neighbors and friends.
