UN spokesman Faran Haq HUMILIATED by journalist who poses simple question: “Do you think the US military presence in Syria is illegal or not?”
Watch him stutter and stammer while falsely claiming “there’s no US armed forces inside of Syria,” then fold like a cheap suit when asked about recent drone strike that wounded 5 of them: “if there are no US service members in Syria, how could they get injured?”

French Woman Arrested For ‘Insulting’ Macron Online
A woman in France was arrested at her home and is awaiting trial for allegedly “insulting” President Emmanuel Macron online, writes La Voix Du Nord (LVDN) newspaper.
According to the official complaint, the supposed “insult” came from a social media post. The woman, identified only as Valerie, was photographed in front of a garbage bin with the words “Macron garbage” written on it. Valerie also reportedly shared a post referring to the French leader as “garbage” about Macron’s then-coming speech amid public outcry over the government’s pension age hike.
Publicly insulting France’s commander-in-chief is technically a punishable offense, but a rarely enforced one, to the point that the officers who appeared to arrest Valerie on March 24 were themselves “surprised” by the orders they were given.
As it stands, Valerie faces up to six months in prison and a fine of up to 22,500 euros ($24,400).

"A real journalist, even a government supporter, always remains in opposition to the government on some issues. This is how Pravda. Ru has behaved in recent years. We criticised pension and tax reforms. That was a point of view of our journalists, and they expressed it freely.
"Yet, if the American near-journalist environment refers to me as Putin's political ally, then I am glad to be an ally of the president, who writes and edits his speeches himself, who can stand four-hour live meetings with journalists, and who does not shake hands with air, fall on airstairs and try to publicly call dead people to ask their opinion. I am proud that Russia has a capable president who thinks, who does not read from a prompter what assistants write for him, who does not forget the names of countries and the names of his interlocutors."
