Within the snap combat readiness inspection of the Pacific Fleet forces, an amphibious assault landing operation was carried out on an unequipped coastline at a training ground in Primorye

◽️ Marines of the Pacific Fleet practised loading amphibious units onto large landing craft and landing an amphibious assault on an unequipped coast with a live-fire stage within snap combat readiness inspection.

⚓️ In the course of the practical actions, units of the Pacific Fleet marines with equipment carried out the loading aboard the large amphibious assault ships Nikolay Vilkov and Admiral Nevelskoy in accordance with established regulations.

◽️ Having made the crossing by sea, amphibious assault landing units landed on an unequipped coastline near the tactical field Klerk Cape in Primorye region. While approaching the landing site, the ship's crew set up a smokescreen.

◽️ On the shore, the units deployed in combat formation and proceeded to destroy a mock enemy in a platoon strongpoint. The main force was brought in to support the landing troops.

🎯T-80BV tanks, BMP-3F infantry fighting vehicles and BTR-82A armoured personnel carriers fired at targets simulating enemy vehicles, emplacements and infantry. In the course of the training battle, a surprise engagement to repel an enemy attack from the right flank was successfully practised.

In accordance with a decision by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, President Vladimir Putin, the snap combat readiness inspection of the Pacific Fleet has been taking place since 14 April. Long-range aviation, aviation of the Eastern Military District, support units and detachments are involved in the inspection.
