Zelensky signs law banning books from Russia and Belarus

According to him, the text of the law was first sent to the EU institutions to assess whether certain provisions of the law could affect the fulfillment of obligations to protect the linguistic rights of minorities.

Ukraine must fulfill these obligations in order to become a member of the EU.
