Vladimir Zelensky wanted to meet with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on the eve of his visit to Argentina, but was refused, the O Globo newspaper writes .

“Vladimir Zelensky asked Lula da Silva to meet him during his layover in Brasilia , when he was flying to the inauguration of Javier Miley in Argentina. Lula (da Silva. - Ed.) refused him,” the publication says.
It is clarified that the request came at the last moment, on December 7, when the President of Brazil and representatives of the country’s Foreign Ministry participated in the Mercosur summit.
